Ivan Doctorov International SAMBO Tournament – Sofia, Bulgaria
The summer international calendar continues in Bulgaria's capital city. From July 11 to 13, Sofia will host the annual Ivan Doctorov International SAMBO Tournament for cadets aged 14-16.

Named after one of the most distinguished figures in Bulgarian SAMBO, the tournament continues to grow in prestige within the international SAMBO community. Every year, it brings together young athletes from dozens of countries, providing not only a high level of sporting competition but also valuable opportunities for cultural exchange in the heart of the Balkans.
This year, the organizers have introduced a significant initiative to support participating teams by offering a special quota of complimentary accommodation for delegations.
“We understand how important support is for the development of young athletes, and we are pleased to offer special conditions for teams planning to join us in July,” the organizers noted.
The 2026 edition is expected to attract a record number of participants.
