World SAMBO Cup Returns to Dushanbe for Second Consecutive Year
The Tajik capital of Dushanbe is set to host the World SAMBO Cup for the second consecutive year, welcoming the world's top sambists on September 19-20. After a successful debut in September 2025, the tournament returns to Central Asia, confirming Dushanbe's growing status as a reliable and prominent host of major international SAMBO events.
The competition will bring together elite athletes from across the globe competing across 28 weight categories in Sport SAMBO and Combat SAMBO for both men and women. The seeding and draw will be conducted according to athletes' international rankings, guaranteeing balanced and compelling matchups from the opening bouts through to the finals.

Sport SAMBO — Men: 58, 64, 71, 79, 88, 98, +98 kg
Sport SAMBO — Women: 50, 54, 59, 65, 72, 80, +80 kg
Combat SAMBO — Men: 58, 64, 71, 79, 88, 98, +98 kg
Combat SAMBO — Women: 50, 54, 59, 65, 72, 80, +80 kg
