Finnish Open SAMBO Championship Held in Helsinki
The Finnish Open SAMBO Championship took place in Helsinki on April 4. The competition was held at the Vuosaari arena and brought together young SAMBO athletes from five Finnish clubs.

The tournament was open to competitors across children's, cadet, youth, and junior categories, with a total of 38 athletes taking part representing Helsinki Haka, Kemi Sambo, Tampere Sambo, Sambo-2000, and Sports Club Achilles.

According to the organizers, the event had three main objectives: to raise awareness of SAMBO in Finland, to attract new clubs and enthusiasts to the sport, and to identify the strongest young athletes for future international competition.

Following the bouts, winners and medalists were determined across all weight categories. All podium finishers were awarded medals and certificates of achievement.
